I took some pictures when I removed my pistons from my "new" 59AB flathead, this is quite a well kept engine, but during storage some small amount of water have entered the engine, freezing over the pistons.
I cleaned up the cylinder bore then I filled the cylinders with some kerosene for a week. Before I started to remove the pistons.
